Venison Meatballs

Introduction

You can substitute ground turkey or ground beef if you don't have venison. Also, this makes a lot of meatballs and sauce. Eight servings might be a low guess. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground venison
    3 egg whites
    .5 c skim milk
    .25 c Parmesan cheese
    .25 c mozzarella cheese
    1 c bread crumbs
    1 T parsley
    2 cloves garlic
    1 can marinara sauce
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    3 T olive oil
    1 can tomato paste
    1 T salt
    1 T pepper
    other seasonings to taste

Directions

Whisk milk and egg whites together.
Add bread crumbs, cheese, parsley and minced garlic to bowl.
Add venison and knead, then make into golf ball sized balls.
Brown in hot skillet and olive oil, then add to a bowl of all the other ingredients. Let it all simmer for an hour, stirring occasionally.
Serve over pasta or on bread for meatball sandwiches.
