Make sure that turnips are diced into small cubes. Boil until almost "mush". Drain well. Add turnips and remaining ingredients, excluding cream to a food processor (for creamier texture) or a powerful hand mixer may be used (for lumpier texture). Cream together. SLOWLY add cream a little at the time. IF YOU ADD TOO MUCH, YOU ARE IN TROUBLE......these are not as starchy as potatoes. If you wish, you may put into a dish and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 6 half cup servings.
