Vanilla Steamer

Introduction

This is a home made version of the steamed milk I like to get from Starbucks. Much cheaper and just as good! This is a home made version of the steamed milk I like to get from Starbucks. Much cheaper and just as good!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 cup nonfat milk
    1 tblsp. honey
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

Place milk in a microwave proof mug or cup. Microwave on high for 90 seconds, or until warm. Stir in honey and vanilla extract. Mix well. Enjoy!

    Wow, this was super good! A neat trick you can do to make this frothy and foamy is to put it into the blender for a couple seconds after you've heated it. - 1/24/13

    This is great sprinkled with cinnamon or nutmeg on top. Instead of honey, it could be made with splenda for fewer calories. - 3/6/09
