Quick Chocolate Oatmeal bars

Introduction

This is a quick and easy treat that satisfies me when I start 'jonesing' for something sweet and filling. It takes about 5 minutes to put together. Again, I wouldn't suggest a steady diet of this but once in a while we need to indulge ourselves, don't you think? This is a quick and easy treat that satisfies me when I start 'jonesing' for something sweet and filling. It takes about 5 minutes to put together. Number of Servings: 28

Ingredients

    1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz)
    l can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
    l full cup of dry oatmeal - the quick cook variety

Directions

Heat milk and chips in a heavy pan over low heat until melted. Stir in oatmeal. Spread in 9X13 baking dish lined with wax paper. Cool in refrigerator until firm. Cut into 28 pieces. (4 rows lengthwise/7 rows crosswise.
