Chunky Veggie Pasta Sauce

Introduction

Ingredients

    15 oz. Can Contadina Roma Style Tomatoes Sauce
    14.5 oz Can Del Monte Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano, No Salt Added
    1 Cup Diced Green Bell Peppers
    1 Cup Diced Red Bell Peppers
    1/4 Cup Sugar
    1 Cup Diced Tomatoes
    1 Cup Diced Onions
    1/8 Cup Minced Garlic
    1 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

Fry Green Bell Peppers, Red Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Onions, Minced Garlic with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil for 2-3 minutes. (Start spaghetti water while these are frying). Combine the Contadina Sauce and Del Monte Diced Tomatoes with the sugar in a sauce pan. Once veggies are fried add to sauce and let it simmer while spaghetti, garlic bread and/or any meats (we cook in the same pan the veggies were in) are cooking. Makes 16 1/2 cup servings
