Introduction

Even though you blend the corn to a smoother consistency, you will still find it to be somewhat coarse. This is what makes the soup a zesty meal. Even though you blend the corn to a smoother consistency, you will still find it to be somewhat coarse. This is what makes the soup a zesty meal.

Ingredients

    1 large onion, thinly sliced – Optional
    1 pkg of frozen corn
    1 tsp rice bran oil
    1 - 2 cups of milk
    2 Tbsp flour
    Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

1. In a large pot, pour 3 cups of water and the contents from the frozen package. Once the corn is cooked and cooled, blend the corn using the water in which the corn was cooked.
2. Next, saute onions to transparency in a teaspoon of oil. Add flour and fry till golden brown. Add the blended corn and milk while stirring constantly. Let it simmer for a few minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
