Navy Bean Soup

Introduction

A hearty and tasty soup. A hearty and tasty soup.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 carrot, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/3 lb. smoked ham, cubed
    1 can navy beans
    1 packet chicken bouillon
    2 cups water
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a large pot, saute the onion, carrot, and garlic in the olive oil until all are tender. Add the ham, beans, bouillon and water. Simmer until heated throughly. Remove half of mixture to food processor or blender, puree and return to pot. Add salt and pepper to taste.
