Layer ingredients in the following order in a crockpot: onions, garlic, 1.5 tBsp Chili Powder, 1 tsp Cumin, Canned tomatoes (with juice), Green chile sauce (or any hot sauce, to taste), Corn, Kidney Beans, pecans, and chicken (preferably pre-chopped). I also add a few drops liquid smoke, for aroma and flavor.
Chicken Breast, no skin, 18 ounces (remove)
Sweet Corn, Fresh, 1 cup (remove)
Garlic, 3 cloves (remove)
Onions, raw, 3 cup, chopped (remove)
Canned Tomatoes, 2.75 cup (remove)
Almonds, 0.70 cup, sliced (remove)
Pecans, 1 oz (20 halves) (remove)
Beans, red kidney, 1.50 cup (remove)
Green Chile Sauce, 2.50 oz (remove)
Cook on Low 5-7 hours, or High 3-5 hours, or until chicken is done.
