Introduction

The best ragu' comes from two different meats, however it also makes it less healthy so only do this every so often!! The best ragu' comes from two different meats, however it also makes it less healthy so only do this every so often!!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 fresh zucchini
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 lb italian pork sausage (patties, or open the links)
    1/2 lb ground turkey (get it lean!)
    2 cups marinara sauce (you can make your own, but this is a general sauce)

Directions

First sautee the garlic and zucchini in a large pan or pot as we will be adding the meat and sauce.
When the zucchini is al dente (not fully cooked but significantly softer) throw in the sauce and the meat. Break up the meat clumps and stir frequently. Simmer for an hour to let the flavour infuse!
