Ingredients

    1.5 pound hamburger
    6 Cups Tomato Sauce
16 oz Spiril Pasta, cooked and drained
    4 Cups Chedder Cheese
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
Itialian Seasoning (basil, thyme, bay, oregano)
    Seasoning Salt
    Garlic Powder
    Onion Powder

Optional (not included in nutrition information)
    1 can Olives, sliced
    1 can mushrooms

Directions

Prepare pasta according to package directions and drain.

In a large skillet, add hamburger, onion, Itialian Seasoning, Seasoning Salt, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder and cook until beef is browned. Drain grease from skillet.

Cover the bottom of a 13x9 cake pan with tomato sauce. Place a thin layer of hamburger mixture then a layer of pasta. Cover with tomato sauce and sprinkle lightly with all seasonings. Next, place a thin layer of cheese, then the hamburger mixture, pasta, cheese, tomato sauce, seasonings, and repeat to the top of the pan with your top layer being cheese.

Place in the oven at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  • This only makes about 8 servings at the VERY most and they are small. So in order to make a proper serving (about a cup) the info would be MUCH higher. - 3/2/09

I went in and edited the servings more appropiately (I still have trouble judging serving sizes and numbers) added about 200 calories to each serving.

    Thanks for pointing that out!
