Beef and Broccoli Stir-fry




Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
    1/3 cup orange juice
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. flour
    2 medium red peppers, sliced
    2 tsp. canola oil
    8 oz. lean beef strips
    8 oz. broccoli florets
    1 large onion, sliced
    Pepper to taste

Directions

Mix soy sauce, orange juice, brown sugar and flour together. Set aside.
Heat oil in a wok. Add beef strips and stri-fry about 4 minutes. Add red pepper, broccoli and onion. Stir-fry about 5 minutes, until vegatables are tender but still bright and crunchy.
Stir the flour mixture and then add to wok. Cook, stirring often, about 2 minutes, until thickened.
Season with pepper. May serve with rice.
Serves 4
