Chicken and rice with almonds

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 cups Jasmine rice (precooked according to package directions)
    1 large precooked chicken breast
    2 cups frozen peas
    1 cup mushrooms, canned
    1 cup onions, slivered
    1tbsp curry powder or to taste
    1tbsp sesame oil
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1oz slivered almonds

Directions

Add oil to large frying pan or wok. On low-med heat add onions and cook until caramelized. Add minced garlic, mushrooms, and peas. Heat through, then add thinly sliced chicken and pre-cooked rice. Add curry powder and almonds. Stir and heat through. Very tasty.
