Ingredients

1 cup of water
Dash of salt
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats (NOT quick cooking)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1.5 tbsp of Lingonberry preserves
Directions
Bring water and salt to a boil over high heat.
Stir in the oatmeal, and drop heat to medium.
Stir occasionally, while letting oatmeal cook about 6 minutes (your time may vary - you're looking for the oatmeal to absorb most of the liquid)
Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla and cover.
Let the oatmeal stand for 5 minutes, then transfer to a serving bowl. Stir in the preserves, and enjoy!
