THE PREVIOUS POSTER SHOWED THESE NUTRITUIONAL FACTS WRONGLY! I AM ON ALOT OF DIFFERENT DIETS SO I HAD TO REDO THE NUTRITIONAL FACTS IN THIS RECIPE TO SEE IF I COULD EAT IT. THESE ARE THE CORRECT FACTS AS THE RECIPE WAS WRITTEN BY THE PREVIOS POSTER. THIS IS NOT MY ORIGINAL RECIPE. IT IS HOWEVER, A GOOD ONE. I DID ADD-IN 1 TEASPOON OF FINELY GROUND CRUSHED RED PEPPER FLAKES FOR SOME SPICE.THE ADDITION OF THE RED PEPPER IS NOT FIGURED INTO THE NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION.     1 CUP SHREDDED JICAMA
    2 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
    1 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER
    1 TEASPOON SALT
    2 TABLESPOON SALTED BUTTER
    1/4 CUP (.25) THINLY SLICED ONION

    MY ADD-IN: 1 TEASPOON FINELY GROUND CRUSHED RED PEPPER FLAKES ( THIS IS NOIT ADDED INTO THE NUTRITIONAL FIGURES)!

Directions

THIS YIELDS: 2 SERVINGS
SHRED JICAMA . SLICE ONON & SEPARATE SECTIONS. PUT THESE ALL INTO A MEDIUM BOWL. ADD IN BLACK PEPPER, RED PEPPER & GARLIC POWDER. MELT BUTTER IN LARGE SKILLET. ADD MIXTUE TO SKILLET. PRESS INTO THE SKILLET FIRMLY. COVER PAN & COOK UNTIL BOTTOM IS FULLY BROWNED. FLIP JICAMA PATTI OVER. RECOVER & COOK UNTIL BOTTOM IS ALSO BROWNED. REMOVE , CUT & SEVE. ENJOY.
