Has anyone made this recipe yet? I'm tempted to try it but since it offers no time guidelines at all and I work 8+ hours a day, I'm nervous to just turn on the crockpot and let it go all day. Any tips? - 10/22/09

Sorry about the lack of time guidelines! I made a batch a few days ago and left it on high for six hours and it was fine. It should be okay on low for 8+ hours, but not all crockpots are the same. I would suggest maybe trying to make it on a day when you don't have to work to be safe.

Easy, cheap, healthy, and tasty! I had this in the crockpot on low for 10+ hours while I was at work and it turned out fine. My kids even ate it, although they said they would have preferred it without the spinach. - 10/23/09

  • I loved it! Very simple to make, low-cal, healthy, and tasty. I'm going to try it again tonight and throw some variations in there... maybe some zucchini, mushrooms, and anything else interesting I find at the grocery store. - 10/27/10
