Ham Steaks with Applesauce & Cottage Cheese

Ingredients

    4 oz extra lean ham, cut into two serving size pieces
    1 1/2 cups apples, peeled & chopped
    1/4 cup cottage cheese
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 splenda packet

Directions

Place the ham steaks in a hot nonstick skillet and cook for 1 minute on each side. In a bowl, toss together the apple pieces, cinnamon, and sugar substitute. Microwave for 2 minutes.Mash the cooked apples and the cottage cheese with a fork.

To serve: Cover the ham steaks with the applesauce.
