Introduction

Went looking for Brussels sprouts recipes to make for hubby for our anniversary. This combines a couple different ones. It was very good - our original 4 serving designation didn't hold - we ate them all between the two of us! Went looking for Brussels sprouts recipes to make for hubby for our anniversary. This combines a couple different ones. It was very good - our original 4 serving designation didn't hold - we ate them all between the two of us!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, halved, unless very small
    8 oz sliced water chestnuts, drained and halved, (optional)
    3 Tbsp margarine, melted
    2 tsp lemon juice
    2 tsp Dijon mustard, with seeds is best
    1 tsp dill weed
    salt and pepper to taste




Directions

Steam sprouts until tender, don't overcook them, 12 to 14 minutes should be enough.

Combine remaining ingredients, toss to coat and serve
