Pasta Fagioli

Ingredients

    1 pound ground venison(or lean beef), 1 lg onion diced, 1/2 of red or green pepper diced, 1 qt tomato (drain most of liquid), 1 can cannelini beans, 8 oz dry shell pasta (cooked per pkg), 1T each basil and oregano, 1/2 T thyme, 2 t salt, 5 oz mozzarella

Directions

Brown meat with onion and peppers. While browning cook pasta slightly underdone. Add drained tomato and seasoning. Cook until most of liquid is evaporated. Add beans and pasta, heat through. Top with cheese and serve. Serves 8.
