This is a recipe I loved making with my aunt as a kid. I've lightened it up a bit since then. Very versitile and fun to watch the gooey batter become a pizza! This is a recipe I loved making with my aunt as a kid. I've lightened it up a bit since then. Very versitile and fun to watch the gooey batter become a pizza!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup all purpose flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    1/8 tsp pepper
    2 eggs
    2/3 cup skim milk
    Mix together, then top with 1.5 cups low fat pizza sauce
    1.5 cups shredded mozzerella
    assorted chopped veggies

Directions

Preheat oven to 425. Brown optional turkey Italian sausage (not included in calories). Lightly spray a 13x9 pan. Mix flour, salt, seasoning. Add 2 beaten eggs and 2/3 cup milk. Pour batter into pan tilting so it covers bottom. Arrange toppings. Bake on low rack 15 min. Remove from oven and drizzle sauce and cheese.
