IntroductionUsing a bread starter, this is the no-oil, no-sugar version of Amish Friendship Bread! Using a bread starter, this is the no-oil, no-sugar version of Amish Friendship Bread!
Splenda - 2 cups, plus a little extra for sprinkling
Flour - 3 cups
Applesauce - 1 cup
Egg - 3
Vanilla Extract - 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Soda - 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
1 large box instant pudding
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Day 1: get starter in plastic bag and squish!
Day 2-4 same
Day 5: Add 1 cup each flour, splenda, milk and squish
Day 6-9 squish
Day 10: Empty out bag into mixing bowl. Add 1 cup each splenda, milk, flour, stir. Seperate out 4 one cup servings into 4 seperate plastic baggies. Put the date on it, and give to friends along with the recipe! (Don't forget to keep one for yourself).
To the leftover batter in the bowl, add: flour, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, cinnamon, box of instant pudding, milk, eggs, splenda, applesauce and salt. Mix mix mix, then pour into 2 loaf size baking pans!
Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
Cut up chunks of apple to include in the bread, yummy!
Sprinkly cinnamon/splenda mix on top!
Use different flavors of pudding to subltey change the flavor
This recipe will make 2 loaves, with 20 2 inch pieces in each.
