Introduction

This recipe was adapted from another Cabbage Vegetable Soup recipe on SparkPeople. I decreased the cabbage and added in some spices and a can of chicken broth. Ingredients

    (1) 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
    1 medium onion, diced
    3 stalks celery, diced
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    1/2 head of medium head of cabbace, shredded or sliced
    (1) 14.5 oz. can of green beans
    (1) 12 oz. can of sweet yellow corn
    (1) 15 oz. can of pinto beans
    1 tbsp. garlic, chopped
    1/2 tbsp. basil
    (1) 14.5 oz. College Inn Light & Fat Free chicken broth
    1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions

Place al ingredients in crockpot, on low heat, and cook until vegetables are tender.

Can also be cooked on the stovetop.

Serves 8
