Aimee's Favorite Tuna Melt

Introduction

My favorite way to eat tuna My favorite way to eat tuna
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    * Tuna, Canned in Water, 1 can
    * Kraft Mayo w/ Olive Oil - Reduced Fat, 1 tbsp
    * Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
    * Garlic, 1 clove
    * Cheddar Cheese, .04 oz
    * Celery, raw, 1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)
    * Pepperidge Farm German Dark Wheat 100% Natural, 4 serving

Directions

Drain water from tuna
add garlic, onion, celery and mayo
Mix well
Scoop 1/4 of the mixture onto 1 slice of bread
with a small hand held shredder (tiniest holes) grate cheese (usually 1-2 passes is more than enough) I like the Scottish or Irish Cheddar it has a much stronger flavor and requires less.
next I toast mine in a toaster oven but you can also spray a pan with some cooking spray and toast at a med heat make sure to cover when cooking so that the cheese will melt.
Goes well with a side salad or steamed veggies
makes 4 -1 slice servings
