Introduction

This is a typical Peruvian dish made with beef.

Ingredients

    2 tbl veg oil
    1/2 c onion, sliced
    2 cloves of garlic, minced
    1/2c red or yellow bell pepper
    1 1/2c potato cooked and cubed
    1 tbl or more diced jalapeno
    1/2lb sirloin steak, sliced thin
    1 tomato, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp fresh oregano

Directions

heat oil and saute onion, garlic, and pepper. add potato and cook, stirring occasionally, until potato begins to brown. add chile and steak and saute a few more minutes. Stir in tomato, oregano, and salt and pepper.

Serve with steamed rice (not included in calorie count)
