Introduction

Once cooked this tasty sauce can be added to pasta, or for a low-carb meal used as a topping for roasted chicken. Add your favourite fresh herb(s) to the slow cooker for an even tastier version. Ingredients

    600g fresh mushrooms
    150g bacon (around 5 medium rashers)
    2 Full sized leeks
    4 cloves garlic
    Fresh herb

Directions

Chop all ingredients, paying attention to chop herbs and garlic very finely. Add to slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours. You can add some red wine to the recipe as well, but be sure to add the extra calories.
