Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya

Ingredients

    4 Chicken Thighs
    7 oz. Smoked Turkey Sausage
    2 cups uncooked Long Grain and Wild Rice
    4 cups (32 oz.) Low Sodium Chicken Broth
    1 medium Diced Onion
    1 medium Diced Bell Pepper
    1 tsp. Black Pepper
    4 tsp. Hot Pepper Sauce

Directions

Boil chicken until done (about 30 minutes). Allow to cool and remove skin and bones. Chop chicken up roughly. Cut sausage into 1/4" slices. In a dutch oven combine chicken, sausage, rice, chicken broth, diced onion, diced bell pepper, black pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes or until desired consistency. Makes about 6 servings.
