Introduction

My first attempt at rice and beans with my new slow cooker. I kinda just threw ingredients in. My first attempt at rice and beans with my new slow cooker. I kinda just threw ingredients in.

Ingredients

    1 can each black and pinto beans drained and rinsed
    14 oz diced tomatoes
    2 cups uncooked rice
    Cumin, Salt, Garlic, Red Pepper, Chili Powder, dried herbs (to taste, didn't use exact measurements)
    can of chicken stock (I used reduced fat/sodium)
    Italian Turkey Sausage cut into rounds
