Slow Cooker Arm Pot Roast

A delicious, easy dinner for 4. A delicious, easy dinner for 4.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Potato, raw, 4 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)
    Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Baby Carrots, raw, 16 medium
    Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 1.25 lb
    Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup & Dip Mix 1 Tbsp, 4 tbsp
    Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz)
    Best Choice® Extra Virgin Olive OIl Pan Coat-no stick cooking spray, 2 serving

Directions

1 Coat a large skillet with cooking oil. Over medium heat, brown roast on both sides .
2) Add potatoes, onions, carrots, and then arm roast to the crockpot.
3) Combine soup mix with water and pour over pot roast.
4) Cooked covered on LOW 8-10 hrs or until tender.
5) Remove the roast and vegetables; keep warm.
6) Blend 2 tbsp flour with the ┬╝ cup water then thicken the gravy. Cook on HIGH until thickened.

  • Don't understand... do I use 1Tbls or 4Tbls Lipton Soup Mix? do I use .5Cup or 8oz water? Is gravy in nutritionals? - 4/6/09

    I am so sorry for the errors. It is one package of Lipton Soup Mix and 1/2 cup of water. Yes, the gravy is included. It is very tasty. Hope you try it.
