Italian Style Zucchini and Squash

Introduction

Simple, but great side dish for any Italian main course using the extra pasta sauce that may be left over from your main course.
Also a great alternative to using pastas.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 Cups - Zucchini, Sliced and cut in halves
    4 Cups - Squash, Sliced and cut in halves
    1 Cup - Healthy Choice Garlic and Herb Pasta Sauce
    1/2 Cup - Water

Directions

1. Place Zucchini and Squash into large pot and add water.

2. Cook on medium heat, cover and steam until desired tenderness has almost been reached. Checking often to stir veggies.

3. Drain any access liquid remaining.

3. Add pasta sauce, and continue cooking until done. Serve immediately.

Makes approx. 4 - 1 cup servings after cooked.
