Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Set aside half cup flour.
    Blend 2 1/2 c flour, 3/4 c sugar, 3/4 tsp salt
    envelope of yeast in bread machine. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 stick butter and 2/3 c milk. Turn bread machine on to yeast bread cycle. Let the machine mix and raise the dough once.
    Remove dough before baking cycle begins.
    Add 3/4 c raisins and work by hand for ten minutes. Place in baking pan to raise again.
    When pan is full about 3/4 - 1 hr. spread egg wash on surface.

Directions

Place pan in preheated oven 350 degrees.
Bake for 30 minutes. Bread should sound hollow when rapped on top. Cool atleast one hour. Using a bread knife, cut off about 5/8 inch slices. Enjoy
