Gluten free buckwheat waffles(simplified)

Introduction

I have been gluten free for a year and have found that there is no need to have 5 flours to make a great tasting waffle. I also do not prefer the flavor of bean based flours, so this recipe is suited to that preference. Ingredients

    1 c brown rice flour
    1 c buckwheat flour
    1 t xanthan gum
    1/2 t salt
    3 t baking powder
    2 t sugar
    1 1/2 c skim milk
    2 T milled flaxseed mixed w/3-5T warm water
    4 T butter melted and cooled

Directions

Mix it all together and cook in a waffle griddle. You can adjust buckwheat content to suit your tastes, just add more rice flour to have total flour content equal 2 cups.
