Introduction

Lots of flavor, easy to make. I couldn't find the chili mix in the ingredient list online so it is not calculated into the calories but 1 envelope of spice club chili seasoning mix is 100 calories. Divide that between the number of servings to get an accurate calorie count. Lots of flavor, easy to make. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound of lean ground turkey
    1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
    1 onion chopped
    1 green bell pepper chopped
    1 envelope of chili seasoning mix
    1 cup of tomato sauce
    1 can of pinto beans, undrained
    1/2 tablespoon of olive oil


Directions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil and sautee the onion and green pepper. When the vegetables are softened, add the ground turkey and sautee until the meat is no longer pink. Add the rest of ingredients and mix well. Bring to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer covered for an hour. Or you can then place into a crock pot to simmer on low until supper time. Serving size is one cup.
