Introduction

I can remember my mom making this simple hamburger dish many times when I was growing up. We would usually have mashed potatoes and green beans for the sides in theis meal. This simple comfort food is sure to satisfy your family as it did mine. I can remember my mom making this simple hamburger dish many times when I was growing up. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 tsp Seasoned Salt

Directions

1. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Shape mixture into four 4 oz patties.
3. Cook over medium heat until center of patties are done.

    I like this and the concept of comfort food. I used 93% lean beef and I used garlic powder and Cilantro instead of the salt due to I am watching my Na+. It was perfect and I added the Large ring of onion and a piece of tomato and lettuce on top of a toasted bun. It was good. - 8/26/09
