Introduction

Burgers will be soft so handle gently when getting ready to cook. Divide up mix into balls to determine how many you will get. I make mine a medium size. Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 to 1.3 lbs Extra lean Ground Beef - 93/7
    1 to 1.3 lbs Extra lean Ground Turkey - 93/7
    1 cup Tostitos Salsa, mild or medium

Directions

Combine all ingredinents, mixing well. Make 10 equal balls. Shape gently. Cook, in batches if necessary, until done.

I use my George Foreman Grill and cook patties 2 at a time for 6 minutes.

Use care to place on cooking surface because patties will be soft. Turn gently half way through cooking time if doing in a frying pan. Cook over medium high heat for about 6 minutes per side or until done. It will take longer if you want larger burgers.

I serve on whole wheat buns with lettuce, cheese, and more salsa.

This is also good broken into pieces and stuffed into a pita with lettuce, cheese, and any other veggies you'd like. Top with salsa, light sour cream, or light Zesty Italian Dressing.

I like these with a bean or bean and veggie salad.
