Irish Soda Bread Farls

Introduction

So easy to make. Delicious warm, cold or toasted. Serve with sugar free jam.

So easy to make. Delicious warm, cold or toasted. Serve with sugar free jam.

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
    2 tsp Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 Cup Low Fat Buttermilk

Directions

Preheat griddle to 400F.
Mix together all dry ingredients.
Add buttermilk.
Stir with fork into a sticky ball.
Turn out onto a floured surface and knead gently (not too much)
Flaten with your knuckles into a round and roll approx. 1/2 inch thick circle.
Cut into pizza type wedges.
Cook on dry griddle approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
ENJOY!
