Triscuit Tuna Melts

Introduction

These are a great snack or lunch with a good blend of protein, carbs and fat to keep you going through the day! These are a great snack or lunch with a good blend of protein, carbs and fat to keep you going through the day!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Tuna Salad:
    -1 can Starkist White Albacore tuna in water (drained)
    -2 tbsp reduced fat mayonnaise
    -2 tbsp celery (diced)
    -2 tbsp onion (diced) or to taste
    -1 tbsp lemon juice or to taste
    -1 tsp garlic powder or to taste
    -Salt and pepper to taste

    Triscuits, Reduced Fat
    Favorite Low-fat Cheese (about 2 tbsp)

Directions

Mix ingredients for tuna salad.
Place 7 Triscuit crackers (1 serving) on plate. Spoon about 1 tbsp of tuna salad onto crackers (should be about half of tuna salad).
Sprinkle with 2 tbsp shredded cheese.
Cook in microwave for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Enjoy!
