IntroductionLower fat solution to regular meatballs. And kids love them! Lower fat solution to regular meatballs. And kids love them!
-1 pound White meat turkey works best
- 1.4 C bread crumbs (plain or seasonsoned)
-1 egg white
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp black pepper
-1 tsp minced garlic (can be cooked first)
-1/2 tsp italian seasoning (optional)
In a large frying pan heat oil at medium heat.
Form mixture into small 1- 1 1/2 inch balls.
Place the balls into the frying pan. Turn every few minutes as they brown.
For immeadiate use, cook on low for 10-15 minutes or untill cooled all the way through.
For use later, meatballs can be cooled and stored. Add to sauce later and heat to finish cooking through.
