Crockpot Corn Chowder Crockpot Corn Chowder
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cans cream style corn
    1 small onion chopped
    1/2 c. red bell pepper chopped
    32 oz. chicken broth
    1/2 c. half and half
    1 c. bacon, cooked and chopped
    5 c. frozen hash browns
    1/2 t. thyme
    1/2 t. rosemary
    salt
    pepper

Directions

Place all ingredients in crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hours.

  • This recipe was just what I was looking for. I wanted to do corn chowder in the crockpot. It turned out really tasty. I like a lot of corn and don't like red pepper, so I used celery instead of the red pepper and added 1 extra can of cream corn, 1 extra can of kernal corn, and 2 cans of white hominy - 1/21/09
