Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Introduction

Low Sodium, and no red meat. Heart healthy recipe. Low Sodium, and no red meat. Heart healthy recipe.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 Cup Fit & Active Whole Wheat Rotini
    1lb of Ground Turkey
    2 Cups of Mushrooms - cooked
    8 oz Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom (you can possilby find with less sodium which is ok to subsititute)
    1 Cup Fat Free Sour Cream
    Small Onion Chopped (1 cup approximately)
    1 clove of garlic minced

Directions

Boil water and cook rotini. Drain when cooked to desired tenderness.
Cook ground turkey, onions and garlic together in a skillet.
Add cream of mushroom soup to turkey mixture when it is browned/cooked and cook on low heat.
Stir sour cream into meat mixture
Add drained noodles and stir together with meat mixture and heat through completely.
