Green Smoothie

Green Smoothie

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 c. milk
    3 c. spinach (big handful)
    8.25 oz Fresh Pineapple (2 Rings)
    7 oz Grapes (Big Handful)
    Ice as needed
    Agave Nectar for sweetness

Directions

Add all ingredients to a high powered mixer (I use a Vitamix 5200) and blend until you reach your desired consitency. On my vitamix it's usually about 45 seconds to a minute at high speed.

Makes 2 servings

    Sorry about the oversight. Its the first recipe I posted, so I forgot the details. I use a vitamix blender. I think any blender can be used, but the vitamix makes an ultrasmooth smoothie! Thanks for pointing that out. I'll edit the recipe.

    AWESOME smoothie! Whipped up super fast in my Vita-Mix, too! I used frozen pineapple chunks, so no ice was needed. - 8/4/09

    I love this drink ! - Excellent way to get your veggies - I have one of these every day I add a 1/2 cup uncooked old fashion oats to blender and I am so full I don't eat all day. I would have never thought of this Thank you SO SO much! - 5/15/09

  • I loved this smoothie! Very good combination of flavors. I don't always like a green drink, but I sure did this one. I did use 1/2 cup soy milk and 1/2 cup of water ... it was already sweet enough for me so i didn't add any extra sweetener. My husband also loved it (and that is saying something!) - 3/5/10

  • I love green smoothies and my vitamix!!! Make one everyday with spinach, flaxseed oil, banana, tofu, promise supershot (when I have them) etc. I like ASKCHER 's tip about the oats! I am going to try that! I think I will post my drink too!! Thanks for sharing!! - 8/15/09
