Taco Bake

Introduction

I used 4 colors of peppers for a colorful look. I used 4 colors of peppers for a colorful look.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cup chopped bell peppers, any color
    1 - 12 oz can sweet corn
    3/4 cup water
    1 - 14 oz can tomato sauce
    1 package taco seasoning
    2 cups cooked macaroni
    1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat.
2. Drain fat if necessary, add peppers.
Cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Add the water, seasoning, and tomato sauce, mixing together.
4. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Stir in macaroni and corn. Pour into a greased casserole dish.
6. Sprinkle with cheese.
7. Bake in 350 F oven for about 30 minutes, or until heated through.
