Introduction

Excellent salad. My kids love this. A meal in itself, you need nothing to go along with it! You can make this lower calorie/fat if you substitute ground turkey. Excellent salad. My kids love this. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup croutons
    1 lb ground sirloin
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup low fat Thousand Island dressing

Directions

Brown and drain the beef. Let cool. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and cooled beef with the croutons, onion, lettuce and cheese; toss well. Place in a large salad/serving bowl. Drizzle dressing over the top and toss to coat; or serve dressing on the side.
