Slow Cooker Chicken Split Pea Soup

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb (16oz) 454 g Green Split Peas
    6 oz chicken breast, boneless/skinless
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, diced
    4 cups chicken broth
    2 cups water
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp salt
    6 tsp Mrs Dash

Directions

Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Place all ingredients in a crockpot. Cook on high for 3 hours then low for 2 hours. Remove bay leaf and serve.

Makes 10 servings - Approximately 1 cup per serving.
