Oatmeal Martzipan

Introduction

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    !/2 cup rolled oats
    2 cups water (I use distilled water)
    1/4 cup raw almonds
    salt to taste - I use a salt substitute called B-salt found in health food stores.
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 cup raisin (optional)

Directions

Measure 1/2 cup of rolled oats into a glass or stainless steal pot. Add 1 1/2 cups water and salt to taste. Bring rolled oats and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. ( It boils over easily - watch).
While oatmeal is cooking grind almonds in a blender in a half cup of water ( I use a small hand blender)
When oatmeal is finished cooking, ( test to see if it's cooked - different altitudes need different cooking times), add almond mixture and raisins.
Add liquid stevia to taste. Makes 2 -1cup servings
