one pound braising steak 1 large onion, chopped 1 tbsp peppercorns 2 c red wine 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp flour 4 cloves garlic 1/4 c cream
heat oil and fry onions for 5 mins. Crush peppercorns coarsely, mix with flour and press into meat. Sear meat. Reduce heat and add garlic and wine. Simmer 1-1 1.2 hours. Remove steak and keep warm. Reduce sauce by 1/2 and stir in cream. Serve over steak.
