Introduction

Homemade chili Homemade chili
Number of Servings: 11

Ingredients

    1 pound bag dry pinto beans
    1 pound ground beef
    1 package chili seasoning mix
    1 14.5 oz. can Ready cut Italian Recipe Tomatoes
    1 14.5 oz. can Stewed Mexican Recipe Tomatoes
    1 6 oz. can Tomatoe Paste mixed with 24 oz. water


Directions

Soak beans in water overnight. Dump water out. (Removes the gas). Add water to beans and soften beans in boiling water to desired softness. Dump water out again. Cook ground beef and add. Add cans of tomatoes and tomatoe paste mixture, chili seasoning mix. If you like to make it spicy, add small amount of Cayenne Pepper. Mix well and heat until warmed through.
