Tomato Herb Bread

Introduction

This is a very dense bread. This is a very dense bread.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups whole wheat flour
    4 tsp baking powder
    1 Tbsp sugar
    1/2 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp basil
    2 cups tomato juice
    1/4 cup margarine, melted

Directions

1. Combine dry ingredients, making well in the center.
2. Pour in wet ingredients, stir until moistened.
3. Place into greased loaf pan.
4. Bake in oven at 400 F for 35 - 40 minutes or untol wooden toothpick comes out clean.

Makes 8 servings.
