Dry-Rubbed Shrimp

Introduction

A Smoky flavor with a crisp outside and juicy inside. These look and taste like they are much more difficult than what they really are! A Smoky flavor with a crisp outside and juicy inside. These look and taste like they are much more difficult than what they really are!
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 TBS smoked paprika
    1 tsp coarse sea salt
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp brown sugar
    40 large raw shrimp
    vegetable oil spray
    Soaked wooden skewers/or metal

Directions

combine paprika, salt, chili powder, onion powder, and brown sugar into large bowl. Bring grill to high heat.
Add shrimp to bowl and rub mixture all over shrimp.
Thread shrimp onto skewers. Spray lightly with oil.
Grill shrimp for 2 -3 minutes, then turn and grill for 2-3 minutes more on second side. Shripm are done when they are opaque, with a few lightly browned edges. Serve hot.
