Jalapeno and Lime Hummus

Introduction

This is not your traditional Hummus, but if you like spicy ... you've got to give this Hummus dip a taste! This is not your traditional Hummus, but if you like spicy ... you've got to give this Hummus dip a taste!
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 can (240g net) Chickpeas or Grabanzo Beans, drained and rinsed
    1 Large Lime, juiced
    1-2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter or Sun Butter
    3 Cloves Garlic
    2 Heaping Tablespoons Jalapeno Peppers, pickled
    1-2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro (Corriander)
    1 Pinch Cumin
    1 Pinch Red Pepper Flakes, up to 1 teaspoon
    1 Pinch of Salt, Sea Salt preferrably

Directions

Combine all ingredients into a food processor or blender until smooth. If hummus is thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until desire consistancy.

Makes about 3 cups - 1/4 cup per serving.
