Introduction

Recipe I got from "In The Kitchen With America's Favorite Brand Name Recipes" cook book. I used 85% lean beef and egg beaters instead of eggs in this recipe. Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 envelope LIPTON Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
    2 lbs ground beef
    2 cups crushed corn flakes or bran flakes cereal (about 3 oz)
    1 1/2 cups frozen or drained canned whole kernel corn
    1 small green bell pepper, chopped
    3/4 cup water
    1/3 cup ketchup
    2 eggs

Directions

Makes 12 servings

Preheat oven to 350 F.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
In 13x9-inch baking or roasting pan, shape into loaf.
Bake 1 hour or until done.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Serve, if desired, with salsa.

(Original recipe yields 8 servings, i slimmed mine down)
