Yummy No Fat Banana Bread

Introduction

Delicious, basic low-fat banana bread that can serve as a base for adding other ingredients such as dried fruit, nuts, flax seed, etc. Use whole wheat or half whole wheat and half white flours if you wish. Play with the sugars to adjust to your taste. Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    3 bananas
    1.5 cups flour
    .5 cup white sugar
    .5 cup packed brown sugar
    4 T unsweetened applesauce
    1 t vanilla
    1 t baking soda
    .5 t baking powder
    .25 cup egg substitute

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, 325 degrees for convection
Mash bananas, combine with wet ingredients
Combine all dry ingredients
Gently fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients
Batter will be very thick
Divide batter into 3 small loaf pans sprayed with Pam
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes.

Makes 3 small loaves of bread.
Serving size is calculated on six slices per loaf.
